Every single product is hand-selected by our founder, Katie Etzkorn Wedding. She utilizes her counseling background and personal grief experience to provide gifts that lift the heart of the griever.
Whenever possible, Katie has chosen to work with local St. Louis-area companies. Our shop features products from other home-grown small businesses. We are constantly expanding to include new and inspirational products. See below to learn more about some of our local favorites:
- Seeds of Happiness: This St. Louis company started out as leftover lumps of clay that Mark Borella made into little smiles to give out to friends who were going through hard times and needed a little smile. Since 2006, he has given out thousands of ‘smiles’ to folks. In turn, they share them and the story with their friends in need of a smile. The Seeds of Happiness factory is located in Kirkwood, Missouri. The ceramic clay smiles are rolled at a local workshop that is staffed by adults with special needs. Borella and his team hand-paint each individual smile before packaging them to share.
- Mother Earth Pillows: These therapeutic pillows are the invention of a nurse in Arnold, Missouri. They are sure to provide comfort and soothing therapy for a grieving soul.
- Heartland Fragrance Company: Our adorable ducky soaps were discovered at Atlanta Marketplace- only to learn that they are manufactured and distributed from the company in St. Louis!
- JAGs BOWTIQUE: All of our items are available for embroidery and personalization by Julie Golomski of JAG’s Bowtique… an old childhood friend!
